Musings from Exile

It’s Saturday night and I am here in the lobby of the Leavey Center, Georgetown’s student center. It’s quite lovely. I’d love to hang out here more…except for the one detail that I work for the “other” university in Foggy Bottom. Also, this campus is kind of hard to access. Metrorail doesn’t run into Georgetown; driving through on M Street (one of the main drags in Georgetown) is nearly impossible on Saturday night. and the campus is a maze. Street parking is noexistent. Yet, once you get here, the campus is quite nice.
